Utah Tech women’s track and field will participate in a split meet beginning Wednesday, April 29 at the Robison Invitational hosted by Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, followed by the SUU Coliseum Championships on Thursday, April 30 in Cedar City.
The team recently achieved notable results at meets in southern California, collecting 23 top-5 finishes, winning three events, and breaking three school records. Among these performances were Erin McKinnon and Kambrie Wilkinson placing second and third respectively in the 10,000-meter run. Megan Jenkins won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.47 seconds. The relay team of Hannah Bingham, Ilenia DeHart, Gracie Meeds, and Scarlett Brock set a program record in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:49.08.
At last year’s Robison Invitational in Provo, Jenkins set a program record for Utah Tech in the 400-meter hurdles while finishing fourth. At the most recent SUU Coliseum Championships hosted by Southern Utah University, Utah Tech won four events and secured a total of 35 top-eight finishes.

The Trailblazers return nineteen athletes from last season’s roster across multiple disciplines including distance running and sprints. They also welcome eight newcomers to their lineup this year along with three new assistant coaches: Holly Haguewood (sprints/hurdles), Shanae Leavitt (multis), and Josiah Williams (jumps).
This marks Utah Tech’s final year competing as part of the Western Athletic Conference before joining the Big Sky Conference on July 1. The university is also preparing to add men’s track & field ahead of next academic year.
