Utah Tech concluded its 2025-26 women’s swimming season at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships, held at the PSJA Natatorium in Pharr, Texas. The Trailblazers finished seventh overall with 604 points in their first appearance at the conference meet. They were 173 points ahead of Pacific, which placed eighth with 431 points. Northern Arizona won the team title with 1,350 points, followed by New Mexico State and Northern Colorado.

During the four-day event, Utah Tech achieved one podium finish, set three school records, and recorded several top-10 all-time program marks.

Cera Mallory led off the final day for Utah Tech by finishing sixth in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:01.58. This was her best time of the season and ranks as the fourth-fastest in program history. Teammates Coco Riding and Kaiya Lawson also achieved season-best times in this event.

Mary Sims Cross secured sixth place in the championship final of the 200 backstroke with a season-best time of 2:00.56.

In other events, Reagan Patterson took sixth place in the consolation final of the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.38 seconds. Gabby Henry won her heat in the bonus final at 51.55 seconds.

Naomi Nakaya swam a time of 2:04.51 in the consolation final of the 200 butterfly, marking it as ninth-fastest ever for Utah Tech.

The meet ended with Utah Tech placing fifth in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:23.64—the fastest this season for Utah Tech and second-fastest all-time for their program. Cera Mallory started off strong on her leg of that relay; Patterson and Henry continued to keep pace before senior Natalia Zmierczak anchored what was her last collegiate race.
