2021 has 3.2% of Washington County residents unemployed

Washington County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,453 people out of the 176,533 living in Washington County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Washington County has decreased compared to the 3.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Washington County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 74,819 people who had a job during that time, 59 were employed in the Armed Forces and 74,760 belonged to the civilian labor force.
