Of the 84,500 people living in St. George in 2019, 50.7 percent (42,878) were women and 49.3 percent (41,622) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Utah News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 22,520-to-21,823. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,457 females and 8,759 males.
