Dixie State University enrolls 9,928 undergrads

At Dixie State University, 82 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Saint George enrolled 9,950 students in fall 2018, including 9,928 in undergraduate and 22 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

74 percent of undergraduates are residents of Utah, and 24 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (12 percent).
