Jake Andreas competes with San Francisco Dons in loss to California Baptist on Feb. 26

On Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m., Jake Andreas, a former Dixie High School standout, and his current team, the San Francisco Dons, were defeated 16-2 by the California Baptist Lancers in their NCAA Division I baseball game.

Benedetti Diamond hosted the matchup. This marked the Dons’ first contest against the Lancers this season.

Andreas pitched one inning, surrendering three earned runs while issuing one walk and notching one strikeout.

The Dons are set to play again on Friday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m., with another game at Benedetti Diamond against California Baptist Lancers.
