Isaac Finlinson, the standout from Dixie High School, took the court on Saturday, March 7, as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors fell 84-75 against Long Beach State Beach.
The junior forward, who stands at 6 feet, 8 inches, recorded 15 points, two rebounds and two steals while playing 33 minutes.
Southern Utah Thunderbirds recorded multiple event wins at this year’s Bryan Clay Invitational, including first-place finishes by Audrey Hales and Riley Gough. Both men’s and women’s teams delivered strong performances across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and relays.
The Utah Tech Trailblazers were defeated by UT Arlington in their softball series finale at Karl Brooks Field. Despite recording eleven hits and late-inning runs, they could not overcome an early deficit. The team will face Tarleton State next weekend.
Southern Utah University’s softball team swept Abilene Christian with a decisive 5-3 win on April 18. Arianna Ramirez led offensively while pitchers Hannah Duncan and Avery Nielson helped secure victory. The Thunderbirds now prepare for an upcoming series against UT Arlington.
