Senior forward Ethan Potter of Utah Tech has been named the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, according to an announcement from the conference office on Monday.

Potter’s recognition follows a week in which he delivered two more double-digit scoring games, bringing his season total to 25. On Thursday night against UT Arlington, Potter led the Trailblazers with 16 points and 11 rebounds, recording his sixth double-double of the year. He also contributed two blocks, two steals, and an assist during that game.

On Saturday at Tarleton State, Potter scored 17 points and added six rebounds, two blocks, two assists, and a steal in Utah Tech’s 80-72 victory at EECU Center. Across both games last week, Potter shot 59.1 percent from the field (13-for-22), including a 7-for-10 performance against Tarleton State. He was also perfect from the free throw line, making all five attempts.

This marks Potter’s fourth WAC weekly award this season; he previously received honors on December 1, December 22, and January 20.

Utah Tech will return home to face Abilene Christian on Thursday night at Burns Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The WAC Player of the Week list for this season includes multiple honorees from Utah Tech and other schools across the conference.
