74.2% of Washington County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 176,533 citizens living in Washington County in 2021, 74.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 130,921 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 64,190 were male, constituting 49%, and 66,731 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Washington County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 70.7%.
